Hello everyone!
My name is Zoe I am the owner of Posh Paws Dog Grooming and Dog Training.
I am a city and guilds qualified one to one dog groomer here in the quiet village of Timberscombe.
I specialise in show cocker grooms and have clients all over the south west.
I have always had a lifelong passion for animals and since starting my successful dog grooming business and showing career I wanted to expand my knowledge and experience with dogs and enrolled myself into a dog training course. I’m happy to announce that after a lot of hard work and practical training I have been awarded my certification.
Clients that join our puppy training course will get a £5 off voucher for a puppy grooming program.
The training is run over a 6-week course, we'll be covering a variety of essential skills for both you and your puppy, including eye contact, recall, lead walking, and some fun activities.
Each week, we'll meet for a 1-hour session, and after every lesson, l'll expect you to continue practicing these skills at home to ensure steady progress.
Consistency is key when training dogs, so it's important to reinforce what you learn in our sessions.
Our training will take place outdoors, which is the best environment for your dog to learn, with all the different smells and distractions.
Please be prepared for all kinds of weather, so dress appropriately.
What to bring to each lesson:
Long line lead
Collar or harness
Regular walking lead
Poo bags
Treat Bag
High-value treats (like sausage or cheese) - you'll find these much more effective than regular treats, especially in open fields. Think of it like choosing between a digestive biscuit and a cream cake-you know which one you'd prefer, and your puppy will feel the same!

Posh Paws is absolutely excellent with their clients both human and K9 alike.
We have 2 ex street dogs and one is particularly nervous but she was very comfortable with Zoe showing her natural affinity with dogs.
She groomed both our dogs and they both looked so lovely.

Zoe is amazing! Very reliable, friendly and amazing with my pup! He loves her, I don’t trust many people with my dog and she is definitely one of them. From the first day she came over for a visit Winston loved her from the moment he met her. She has a wonderful natural way with animals. Her knowledge of first aid adds an extra comfort while Winston is out with Zoe! Winston has a friend for life!

Zoe has been grooming Chester for around 2 years. He’s a typical cockapoo, gets quite anxious despite his confident appearance. From day one shes built up a fabulous relationship with him, and now he runs up her drive to go in. He loves the bath and He’s gradually got used to the dryer. He always looks fabulous when we pick him up, her grooming and attention to detail is second to none. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Zoe has been grooming my 2 dogs (handstripping my JRT & clipping my Sprocker spaniel) for a couple years now & always does a fabulous job, both boys love going to the Posh Paws Salon.
Her expertise and knowledge is second to none.
She has today groomed a working collie that I have recently re-homed. The bitch had never been groomed before and Zoe’s relaxed & calm presence enabled her to gain Tiffs trust to remove what would have been some painful matts behind her ears and tail.
I cannot thank her enough for her patience today.
Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs.

I’ve been going to Zoe with my cockerpoo since she was a puppy starting gently with a puppy groom and now have a full groom with her every 6-8 weeks. She does an amazing job, she is kind and patient throughout and listens to what I want to be done to my cockerpoo. Highly recommended!! I will also be taking my cocker spaniel to her also!

I have taken two to my dogs to Zoe and they have both had amazing experiences!! My spaniel runs into Zoe and comes out looking very handsome!! She always takes her time and has a lot of patience! I’ve recently taken my puppy dachshund and she was extremely gentle. Would highly recommend Zoe to anyone! 🤍

I took my nearly 3 year old cocker spaniel to get his first proper groom today because I was sick and tired of picking out lots of grass seeds from everywhere on his body after every walk!! He also seemed to get very hot with his chest hair. I was very scared at start but he’s come back looking sooo much better than before. 100% recommend. Thank you Zoe🐾
